About Us

Spaces Blinds originated in State College in 2003 as The Blinds Connection, a shop-at-home supplier of Hunter Douglas blinds. In 2007 the business changed its name to Spaces Design and evolved into a retail location/showroom on West College Avenue; expanding to include a full host of Interior Design services along with Hunter Douglas blinds and custom closets.

In 2013 we relocated and transitioned to a more traditional, appointment based studio setup in Lemont, continuing with the same scope of offerings. In 2023 Spaces Design evolved again, moving out of our Lemont location and re-branding our interior design offerings as Susan Brown Design Associates, while continuing to offer Hunter Douglas blinds exclusively as a shop-at-home experience through SpacesBlinds.com
